Black Gold Days in Glenpool provided us with another opportunity to let the girls experience amusement park rides. Momo, Pa, Uncle Jerrad, and Jordan went with us. Pa was nice enough to ride with the girls on several rides. These rides were a little bigger and fancier than those at the Kiddie Park. There was another roller coaster that Abigail rode. This time I was able to see her to take some good pictures and video. Pa was crammed into the timy seat, but was willing to sacrifice so Abigail could enjoy herself. Both girls also rode the GIANT ferris wheel. This caused me some anxiety again, but Daddy and Pa held on tight and the girls enjoyed the view from what seemed like hundreds and hundreds of feet above the fair.

Kiddie Park
There are so many fun things to do in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. Last week we went to the new QT splash pad and then to The Bass Pro Shop to listen to stories and watch them feed the fish. Not to mention just wandering around the store looking at all the life size animals everywhere. This week, one of the things we did was drive to Bartlesville to go to their Kiddie Park. It is like a toddler-sized amusement park. The girls LOVED it. At first, Emily was a little scared to ride the rides, but Daddy finally talked me into just leaving her on the ride whining a little and she ending up having a blast.
Boats
These horse-drawn carriages were the first ride for Emily. I think it helped to calm some of her tension since it was a ride with "Neigh-Neighs".
Turtles
This was the Turtle ride. Mommy and Daddy both got to ride this with the girls. It was similar to a little roller coaster.
Swings
Emily's favorite ride was the Swings. This does not surprise me at all since she could spend hours in the swings in our back yard or any of the parks we visit. She rode this 3 times.

Kaleidoscope Children's Museum
We had another wonderful play date with our Mothers of Multiples group. It was very nice because Daddy got to join us today. There was so much to see and explore. The girls wanted to stay longer, but after two hours, we knew they were getting sleepy and hungry for some real food.
Emily in her "Chef" hat enjoying her meal prepared with love by Daddy. I think he had about as much fun as the girls did.
Abigail eyeing her meal of pizza and cherry pie. Yummy.
Another snack break by Emily after completing a cake that even Momo would be proud of.
This was the ball in the top of the tower. The girls really loved pushing it around and hitting Daddy with it.
Daddy playing dress up with Emily in the Salon.

SUCCESS!!
Abigail is potty trained!!! She started telling me that she needed to got to the potty on Sunday. I reluctantly took her and she actually really needed to go. She did this a few more times on that day, so I felt like this was it. Monday, she had multiple accidents with no successful attempts, so I started to question if it was really time or not. Fortunately, we stuck with it and as of Tuesday evening, she has not had any accidents again, not even through the night! We went out shopping for a lengthy period yesterday, so I was a little nervous. I tried to put a "just in case" diaper on her and she threw a fit. She did not want anything to do with those anymore. We are so proud of her and it is great only changing half as many diapers. Emily is not showing signs of being ready yet, but constantly encourages Abigail while she sits on the potty.
On a different note, Abigail can also say her alphabet with very little help. She has been able to identify the upper and lower case letters and their sounds for a while now, but is just now able to put them all together to sing the song.

Easter
This Easter turned out to be a little rainy, so all of our activities had to be moved indoors. First, we went to church where the girls made an adorable craft showing Jesus' ascension. Then, we went to Nana and Poppy's house for some lunch and to hunt eggs after nap time with Ethan, Donnie, and Alicia. Next, we went to G.'s to eat more and hunt eggs with Mason.
Emily all dressed up checking out what the Easter bunny brought her.
