Keeping Each Other Company

The girls have really started showing a desire to interact with each other. They love playing side by side, going exploring together, and holding hands. It is amazing watching as their relationship grows stronger and stronger.

Build A Bear

The girls built their first Build A Bear yesterday. Emily picked out a pink and white poodle and named her "Pinky" and Abigail chose a light brown bunny and named her "Honey". After bringing them to life(stuffing), they bathed them and we made them their birth certificates. Abigail wouldn't stop kissing Honey, and all Emily wanted to do was chew on Pinky's nose or foot.

What's Out There?

The girls have discovered the outside world from our back door. They love to watch Carolina playing. "Dog" is a common word in their conversations.

Miss Abigail reached another milestone. She took her first steps yesterday!! We were practicing standing when she decied to take off. The first time she did it, she actually took two steps. This was followed by several other attempts at taking one step at a time.

Sippy Cups

The girls love drinking apple juice from their sippy cups. They are able to correctly chose which cup is their's.

Emily's New Trick!!

Emily started to crawl yesterday and is already getting pretty good.

Carriage Ride

Last night we went to look at the Christmas lights at the Fayetteville Square. While there we rode in a horse drawn "Cinderella" syle carriage. The girls were bundled warmly while taking in the sites as we rode around the square. They got too tired to go see the live reindeer or camel that were there, but we still had a great time with Momo and Pa.

A day in the life...

The girls are learning all sorts of new tricks. Abigail is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. She got her first tooth on Nov. 4th.
Emily is getting on her hands and knees preparing to crawl. She needs to get mobile so she can run away from her sister who keeps trying to use her head to pull up on.
Most importantly, they have both started sleeping through the night!

War Eagle Craft Fair

This weekend we went to the craft fair at War Eagle. We went with Momo and Jordan on Friday and then back on Saturday with Nana and Aunt Tracie.

"HALF"Y BIRTHDAY

The girls are 6 months old today. We celebrated by giving them a "Half"y Birthday party. They LOVED the balloon and putting their hands in the cakes Eating it wasn't allowed, but Emily tried really hard to get it in her mouth.
