More Birthday Fun!

Daddy and Mommy gave the girls Dora 4 wheelers for their birthday. They loved them immediately and learned how to ride them fairly easily. They are still not very good at controlling them as evidenced by them running into the walls and each other.

They had chocolate cupcakes and one more "Happy Birthday" song each. Abigail was actually able to blow out her candle on her own. Daddy helped Emily with hers.

Another big moment was turning their car seats around to face the front. I thought they would love being able to see the world going in the right direction, but they cried the first couple of times they rode like this. Now they are used to it and do fine.

We had to go to the doctor for a well baby check up the day after their birthday. They had to get 4 shots each and a finger stick to check for anemia(both are fine). They were also weighed and measured. Their offical 1 year old stats are: Emily: 31 and 1/2 inches tall(greater than 97%) and 21 lbs. 15 oz(greater than 70%). She is actually catching up with sister who was previously a whole pound heavier, but now only 3 ounces. Abigail: 31 and 3/4 inches tall(greater than 97%) and 22 lbs. and 2 oz(75%).

Our Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's

On their birthday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's to celebrate. The girls were a little apprehensive at first, but after eating a little pizza, they were ready to go. They rode several rides and played a few games, but mostly watched as Daddy, Mommy, Momo, and Jordan played.

Our Princess 1st Birthday Party

The girls had a beautiful 1st birthday party. Many family members showed up to celebrate the anniversary of the most wonderful day in our lives. We are so blessed to have two perfect little miracles and this past year has been a dream come true.
Momo made this beautiful Princess Castle cake and the two "smash" tiara cakes. The girls were very lady like and daintily picked off some icing. They did not eat a lot, but got a taste of it.

Abigail and Emily received so many wonderful gifts. Thank you all for the toys, clothes, books, games, gift cards, and money.

Emily worked pretty hard at unwrapping their presents. Abigail preferred to play with the bows.

We all enjoyed the castle Jupiter Jump. Neither of the girls were able to stand and jump, but instead bounced while sitting down.
