Easter Sunday

Before church, Momo and Pa gave us an Easter basket filled with books and bunnies! Showing off our beautiful Easter dresses.

Nana and Papa helped Abigail at the beginning of the hunt. Daddy was with Emily at the second hunt. Aly and Abigail inspecting their newly found treasures.

We started the day going to church. Then off to Gee's house for a little food and egg hunting. Abigail started hunting by herself and then she fell, so that was it for the walking. She found an alternative. Daddy would hold her and when she spotted an egg, she would point, and Daddy would pick it up and put it in her basket. Emily, on the other hand, was all about finding the eggs, picking them up, and putting them in her basket all by herself. Mommy was still there to assist in the walking part, but Emily was a pretty good little hunter.

Next, we went to Nana and Papa's for more great food and egg hunting. More of our cousins were there and closer to our age, so there were more kids to hunt with. Abigail began hunting with Nana and Poppy similar to her previous attempt, but ended by walking herself. Both girls had become pros at finding the hidden eggs and were able to discover many eggs that were well hidden. Before leaving to go to bed, we got gifts from Aunt Melissa, Uncle Donnie, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Tracie, Nana and Papa. Thank you!!
